Guardian Medical Monitoring, a personal security provider, formed a partnership with Comfort Keepers, an international in-home care company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. The alliance provides Comfort Keepers with an enhanced infrastructure and experience, including Guardian’s Southfield based call center while fast-tracking Guardian’s nation-wide expansion plan into 48 states. Guardian sells monitors that can be used by a person to call for help.

On October 6th, the Pierce Family held a celebratory luncheon for their Medical Monitoring employees to mark the occasion of the division's 10th anniversary. In 1998 Guardian Medical Monitoring began selling and monitoring pull cords and quickly became the fastest growing independent life safety company in North America.
Today Guardian Medical Monitoring provides their customers with Medical Alarms, Medication Dispensers, the Virtually There Care camera system, a portable GPS device and a number of accessories, including pressure sensitive floor mats, motion detectors, door/window contacts and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
